"How do you feel, Duey? How do you feel?"

This should brighten your day a little. Well, it brightened mine... and mine needed a little brightening.

Let's just say it and get it out there... I am very overwhelmed about my big move in less than two weeks. (More on that big move here.) Don't get me wrong, I am also incredibly excited, but packing up your life into a few boxes, saying goodbye to your friends and family and moving multiple states away from the place you consider your home is both scary and emotional. Monday night I had one of those big there's-so-much-to-get-done/what-am-I-doing?! freakouts. Yep, there were tears and lots of them, but I knew to expect this. It's just part of the package... Maybe the move (and all it entails) resembles those irritating Styrofoam peanuts. The box nestled inside those peanuts contains my beautiful, promising future. I'm so excited about this future, but, ugh, those peanuts...

Last weekend, my sisters, brother-in-law, nephews and I went to my mom's for the weekend. My sister caught my nephew, Max, talking to my mom's dogs on the video camera. I love how the little guy, Jude, has his arm around Max and I love how earnestly Max is asking Duey the dog, "How do you feel, Duey?" If you keep watching, Max will explain that he is friends with all the animals, including "dinos and my parents." It's classic Max and I love it.

In a few hours, Max and I are having an Auntie/nephew date. This will include seeing the IMAX Under the Sea 3-D movie, going on carnival rides and eating junk food... Good times will be had.
