Inspired.

Here's the deal... For the last few weeks, blogging has been a challenge. You see, sometimes I actually have to remind myself there are other things to think about besides babies and pregnancy. Then I cut myself some slack and admit that, at 8+ months pregnant, there really isn't. Seriously. There isn't.

That is, until I watched the video below... One of my oldest and dearest friends, Jennae, is an attorney at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. EJI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing legal representation to those who have been treated unjustly in the legal system often due to racial discrimination. Bryan Stevenson is the founder and Executive Director of EJI and he gave one of the most inspiring talks I've ever heard at a recent TED conference. Jennae sent me the link to this talk over a month ago, but due to the craziness of moving out and back into my condo for the big remodel, coupled with the chaos of pregnancy, I didn't get around to it until recently.

Needless to say, this video touched the deepest part of my heart, reaffirmed so many of the beliefs I hold most dear and left me different than I was prior to watching it. I cannot urge you strongly enough to listen to this man's inspiring words.
